Trust Me, I'm Lying: Confessions of a Media Manipulator Review

There is no equivalent of the Hypocritic oath for the media. And now with social media WE are part of the media. You can say anything you want to manipulate people's beliefs and with the internet it is there forever. Very, very scary to hear it right the mouth of someone who does it intentionally and seemingly with impunity.

With social media being such a big part of our lives, I understand more and more that what we read on the internet may have absolutely no connection to the truth. Lies spread much faster than truth because we are more likely to be skeptical only if it disagrees with what we already believe.

I think its a must read but admittedly not for the faint of heart or readers sensitive to strong language.
